Operators manually operate the slide rail conveyor system in which the carcasses, hanging in a slide gambrel or roller hooks on the greased slide rail pipe, can be pushed or pulled. Slide rails are also suitable in the clean area for re-inspection and in manually operated chill rooms and dispatch.
Manual or automatic switch junctions allow for transport between the main transport conveyor and the slide rails.
The Frontmatec light-weight conveyor system is designed for transport of empty hooks/gambrel from the dehooking.
