Via an animal friendly runway, the calf is driven into the carousel and the driveway door is closed. Next, the back door of the carousel is closed. Once inside, the discharge lid is lowered and a pusher pushes the animal to the front of the box, where the head of the animal is fixated.
Depending on the size of the animal, the height of the discharge lid, as well as the height of the floor and the width of the sidewall can be adjusted.
Once securely fixated, the calf is turned upside down, after which the ritual cut can be made. While the cut is made, the next calf can be led into the second compartment and locked in. After bleeding, the box opens into the discharge position, the animal is discharged, and the carousel returns to its start position.
