Frontmatec offers a wide range of logistics solutions, all provided in stainless steel, and designed to be used in the harsh environment of a meat plant. Using plastic trays for transporting the products/cuts gives great flexibility and possibilities for individual yield and process control together with storage and sorting possibilities.
Identification of each tray and its contents is very important. Therefore, the Frontmatec Logistic Systems uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or barcodes as identification on each tray to ensure there is full control of the production line. The tray handling system is controlled by a PLC control system, which also provides online information through the SCADA system of the functionality.
