Automatic Runway system for pigs

In comparison to a conventional manual runway operation, combining the automated runway system with the Frontmatec CO2 stunning system will give you the following advantages:

To ensure stress-free, group-wise handling of the pigs, the Frontmatec Automatic Runway works by means of various mechanical push/hoist gates. The automatically moving gates interlocked with pressure sensitive devices cannot harm the pigs while being driven towards the CO2 stunning system.


To obtain maximum yield, a PLC configured accordingly to the specific order controls the automatic single sequences of the group of pigs driven forward.
