Working process:

• In the secondary packing stations, the products should be placed in the box, identified by a pre-label that should be generated by the plant ERP.


• The pre-label will have product information and a serial number.


• The PLC captures in sequence the pre-label data (product data, security band identification and unique case numbering), and the weight determined by the scale. This information is sent to the plant ERP.


• The plant ERP queries the data (ensuring the 3-second cadence time) and sends the ZPL script to the printer, and the barcode number of the carton label to the PLC


• The PLC, performing a reading of the pre-label code and the label code to check the correspondence, ensures a correct application


• If the readings do not match, the cartons are subsequently diverted to the manual line for reprocessing
