The AIRA robotic splitting saw combines two industrial robots with the same controller so the dual robot arms act as a single machine.

The carcass is split into two halves along the spine. The cut is executed vertically with no damage to the tails to the end of the atlas vertebra. Alternatively, the splitting tool cuts through the head completely, depending on customer preferences.

The total system consists of:

Two robots with hygienic protective covers

Cutting tool with circular saw blades attached to the robot

Sterilization and cleaning unit

Vision and analysis system in every working cycle

Carcass stabilization system

Safety fence with secured entrance
