Automatic hog splitter for accurate robotic splitting

The AIRA robot splitter with knives consist of a highly specialized, compact and optimized tool with two cutting knives attached to a single robot making it ideal for medium capacities and limited available space. The two cutting knives splits the carcass along the spine to the end of the altas vertebra. Depending on customer preferences the splitter can continue, splitting the head completely. As an option, this robot can be configured with changeable tools heads allowing the robot to switch between a splitting tool with blades and a splitting tool with knives.


The total system consisting of:



  • Robot with hygienic protective cover

  • Cutting tool with two cutting knifes attached to the robot

  • Sterilization and cleaning unit

  • Vision and analysis system in every working cycle

  • Carcass stabilization system

  • Safety fence with secured entrance
